We look at the route first, then give you one fixed price to approve before any work starts. There is nothing to pay just for us to come and look during business hours.

The gas network looks after the supply pipe to your property and the meter itself. Everything after the meter, from new gas points to extensions and capping off, is gas fitting work that in NSW has to be done by a licensed gas fitter. We are licensed, licence number 306457C.

Yes. We run the line from your existing gas supply to a bayonet or fixed connection at the BBQ, then pressure test it. If the house has no natural gas, the BBQ can run off LPG bottles instead.

Yes. The line is extended or re-run to the new cooktop or oven position, ideally before the new cabinets and benchtops go in, and the old point is capped off.
Answer:
A bayonet is a gas point on a wall or floor that a portable heater or BBQ hose clicks into, and it closes off when the hose is removed. We fit new bayonets where you want them and replace worn ones that will not click in or seal properly.

The usual sign is burners dropping low, or the hot water struggling, when several gas appliances run at once, often after a bigger appliance was added. We check the load on the line and the length of the run, and upsize the pipe if it needs it.

Yes. When a gas stove, heater or hot water system is removed, or you switch to induction, the unused point is sealed off and the line is tested so it is safe to leave.
