Recent Work Near Little Bay
Real jobs from our own records, completed in the surrounding suburbs.
Of the 2,107 private dwellings the 2021 Census counts in Little Bay, 55% are flats or apartments and 40% are rented. That shapes the plumbing: shared stacks and risers, concealed in-wall cisterns, hot water units tucked into cupboards or on balconies, and a body corporate or property manager to keep in the loop. Sydney Water looks after about 27,000 kilometres of wastewater pipes and clears up to 20,000 blockages a year, but the line from your house to the street connection is yours to maintain, and that is the stretch where tree roots, old clay joints and ground movement do their damage. If you would rather not find out the hard way, our VIP members get a free annual home inspection that checks the drains, taps and hot water before anything fails.

Our plumber attended a suspected gas leak at Little Bay in August 2026. A soapy water test on the hot water line and bayonet fitting found no leaks. When a gas hose was connected to the bayonet, gas was immediately smelled coming from the barbecue. Our plumber explained that the gas valve within the barbecue was faulty, allowing gas to escape when connected. The customer was advised to replace the barbecue.

In March 2026, a Randwick resident reported a sewerage leak from a drain near the kitchen. Our plumber attended the site and found a blocked drain. We recommended gaining access to the work area, setting up specialist hoses and a mini reel, and carrying out a high-powered jet blast of the drainage service. We also recommended a CCTV inspection of the drainage service and locating services if required. The customer accepted a quote for this work.

Our plumber attended a leaking hot water system in Randwick in February 2026. We drained and disconnected the existing 50L hot water unit from behind the fridge space. We drilled through the wall and ran new 1/2 lines from the existing location above the fridge to inside the laundry. The washing machine was moved to the left, and a new 125L tank was installed where the washing machine had been. New lines were run to connect the system.

In June 2026, a Botany resident reported a blocked kitchen sink. Our plumber attended and advised of delays. After a quote was accepted, our plumber picked up acid. We then conducted a chemical treatment and a manual flush to the kitchen line. We tested the line in commission, and all was working in order.

In April 2026, our plumber attended a blocked toilet in Botany that had overflowed. We cleared the blockage with a plunge and tested that all was working fine.

Little Bay Plumbing FAQ
Answer:
Yes. We repair and replace gas and electric systems from all major brands: Rheem, Rinnai, Dux, Thermann, Bosch, Vulcan, Aquamax, Beasley, Zip and Solahart. Same-day service is often possible. 55.2% of Little Bay homes are flats or apartments (ABS 2021 Census); if your system is inside your unit it is usually your own property to repair (NSW Government). The price is fixed before we start.
Answer:
We do, and full bathroom renovations too. Most shower problems are a worn mixer, a dripping head or a leaking base; when water is escaping where you cannot see it, we use leak detection to find it. 39.9% of Little Bay homes are rented (ABS 2021 Census), and renters should book through their agent. Owners get a fixed price and can use 0% interest payment plans.
Answer:
Yes. Our licensed gas fitters (NSW licence 306457C) repair and install gas cooktops, heaters and gas hot water. Any smell of rotten eggs or cabbage means stop: leave the area, put out flames, keep the phone away, and report it to Jemena (Jemena). We then find and fix the leak once it is safe. 15.5% of Little Bay homes are semis, terraces or townhouses (ABS 2021 Census).
